But the highlight of the film became Akshaye Khanna’s performance as Rehman Dakait, the king of Lyari. The internet is filled with praise for him and his iconic entry. And during a recent chat, the film’s casting director, Mukesh Chhabra, has finally revealed his reaction to the film’s response and praises for his acting.
Akshaye Khanna On Dhurandhar Success
During a chat with Miss Malini, Mukesh Chhabra praised Akshaye Khanna for creating magic on the screen. He said, He brings his own element into everything he does, and does it so convincingly that you can’t help but fall in love with it.” He also revealed that he had spoken to the actor after the film’s success. Chhabra revealed that he was very unbothered by everything and just said, “Haan, mazza aaya.” The casting director revealed that Akshaye stayed in his space and read the scenes multiple times to be prepared.
Akshaye plays the role of gangster Rehman Dakait in Dhurandhar. His performance has been the buzz of the town since the film’s premiere, with many spectators believing that he outperformed the film’s protagonist, Ranveer Singh. His little dance to Fa9la during one of his entry scenes has also gone viral and is well-received by spectators.
