An insider reportedly stated that the Hulchul star demanded to wear a wig for the movie which made the makers uncomfortable with the idea. It was probably because he did not wear a wig in the film’s second part. But this was not the only alleged reason. It is being said that Akshaye Khanna revised his fees and asked for Rs. 21 crores for the said upcoming film. The makers were taken aback and they reasoned with the actor that if they exceeded the payment, the film would go over budget. The source stated that the Mom actor felt that he was justified in his demand. He reportedly knew that his presence elevated the audience’s excitement for the film.
