Aishwarya Rai’s Sister-In-Law Gives Clarification On Why Shweta Nanda Sent Her Flowers

Amid her divorce rumours with Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and her sister-in-law’s bitter terms also became the talk of the town. It all started when Shweta Nanda sent Shrima Rai flowers after which Rai got trolled for taking a dig at Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. In recent updates, Shrima Rai shared an explanation on Instagram saying that the bouquet was sent by Shweta Nanda as it was her birthday.

Shrima Rai Shares Clarification

After being trolled for sharing pictures with her nanand Aishwarya Rai, Shrima Rai took down the story of flowers sent to her by Shweta Nanda. On Thursday, November 28, Shrima took to her Instagram and shared factual information on rumours about her floating on the internet.

She wrote, “My birthday was November 21 and as usual flowers were sent. I thank everyone with a shout-out.” It is worth noting that some netizens were also criticizing Shrima for leveraging Aishwarya Rai’s name to secure commercial partnerships. Some claimed that this produced a schism between Aish and her brother, Aditya Rai, and sister-in-law, resulting in them no longer living together.

Replying to this, she wrote, “I am clarifying things because these are facts. I have built an independent career as a content creator for years on my own and as a woman, I find it in poor taste of anyone to try to tear that fact down. For this, my husband, mother-in-law and parents can vouch for that. As a mother, it is extremely important to me that facts are clear when my name is involved.”

Shrima does not share photos with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on Instagram. Shrima shared a flashback photo from her wedding in May, which was Aishwarya’s last appearance on her site. Aishwarya and Shrima don’t follow each other on Instagram, yet the influencer responds warmly to comments about the actress in her feed.
