During a chat with Vickey Lalwani, Prahlad Kakar revealed that Aishwarya Rai’s frequent visits to her mother’s house were one of the biggest reasons for her divorce speculations. He mentioned that Rai’s mother, Brina Rai, wasn’t keeping well with her health, which was the reason for the actress’s frequent visits. Aishwarya drops her daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, off the school and picks her up, and visits her mother in her spare time.
He was also asked about the actress’s alleged strained relationship with her mother-in-law, Jaya Bachchan, and sister-in-law, Shweta Bachchan. Kakar mentioned that she was still the ‘bahu’ of the Bachchan household and continued to run the house. He also said that there was no truth to these rumours, according to him. “She wasn’t living with her mother. She was just coming and spending time with her while her daughter was at school. And she didn’t come on Sundays.”

Prahald added that Abhishek frequently visits Aishwarya’s mother’s home and pays her visits. Prahald claimed that if there was a divorce, why would the actor visit the actress’s mother’s home? He further added that Abhishek and Aishwarya have not spoken on the topic because it is false.
