The agency added that it is taking strong measures against actions that jeopardise the safety of Seventeen. This includes legal proceedings against individuals who have invaded the artists’ privacy. Pledis also addressed the serious problem of confidential information regarding Seventeen’s unreleased albums and performances being leaked on anonymous online forums since early 2023. Despite their efforts to maintain secrecy, the agency acknowledged that the leaks had reached an unacceptable level. They have initiated criminal complaints and are actively working with law enforcement to investigate the source of these leaks.

The agency emphasised that they are committed to protecting information about Seventeen’s activities. Due to the ongoing investigation, they are unable to disclose details, but they assured fans that an official inquiry is in progress.
