After that, they became senior and junior students in the same department and developed a close friendship.
Over the years, Ahn Bo Hyun has cited Kim Woo Bin as one of his best friends. He has also credited him with inspiring him to pursue acting and has been thankful for the support he gave in the early years of his acting career. In 2017, when Kim Woo Bin was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer, Ahn was with him during his treatment.
