Bollywood star Ahaan Panday’s first film, Saiyaara, with co-star Aneet Padd, was a huge success at the box office. Produced by Aditya Chopra, he had a dreamy YRF debut, loved by all. And now, his second film will again be under the same banner, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Ahaan Panday’s next with YRF will be shot in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds. As per reports, Ali and Aditya Chopra are ‘confident’ about the film, especially after the success of Saiyaara. The film made Rs 550 Crores globally, which is a big deal for newcomers. The source added, “For most of December, the director will scout for locations in London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Leeds that will add to the storytelling when they are presented on the big screen.”
Reportedly, Panday is simultaneously preparing for another project. While his debut portrayed him as a devoted romantic hero, for his second one, Chopra wants him as an action-romance star. He has also been undergoing hand-to-hand combat and weapon training.
The film is an action-romance, which will also star Sharvari in the lead. Last month, a source close to the film shared details about the project and told Pinkvilla that Ali, known for captivating audiences with dramas like Sultan and adding depth to action films such as Tiger Zinda Hai, was eager to return to the genre that brought him widespread acclaim. Impressed by Ahaan Panday’s presence and emotional range while performing dramatic scenes in Saiyaara, he decided to build his next project around that vision.
