In a recent conversation with The Nod, Ahaan Panday’s mother, Deanne Panday, spoke about how her son and the entire family’s life transformed after the success of Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara. She recalled the early days post Saiyaara fame when Ahaan was mobbed everywhere he went.
She also revealed that paparazzi would wait outside their house every day. This was all very new to the family, as they previously lived a very normal life with her husband, Chikki Panday, who is a businessman who rarely attended events. So it was strange having everyone watch them.
Deanne Panday shared how she spends of the time working from the second floor of their family’s Union Park bungalow. However, fans and paparazzi are now always waiting outside the gates, hoping to catch a glimpse of Ahaan Panday. Talking about the actor’s fanbase, Deanne said that Ahaan’s oldest fan is in their eighties, while his youngest is two and a half years old, whose parents sent them a video of her dancing to Saiyaara’s song in Abu Dhabi. Deanna also lovingly shared the fan mail that Ahaan receives from fans and how endearing she finds it.

However, not everything is safe; the star’s mom also recalled the times when people crossed boundaries. “Just a few months ago, we received a letter written in blood,” she revealed. Dianne said that they wrote to the sender and asked them not to do such harmful things.
