However, amid all of this buzz, a group of social media users have accused the film of being a remake of the Korean film A Time to Remember, directed by John H. Lee and starring Jung Woo-sung and Son Ye-jin. Let’s decode!
All About Saiyaara And A Moment To Remember
In Saiyaara, the character Vaani gets diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, and as her memory slowly fades, she begins to forget things and even the people closest to her. Despite all of it, Krish remains by her side. He supports her through every obstacle and takes care of her.
Now, let’s talk about the Korean film A Moment to Remember. Here, Su-jin gets diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, and overwhelmed with all of her emotions, she decides to leave her partner, Chul-soo. However, much like Krish in Saiyaara, Chul-soo refuses to let go and chooses to stay. These similarities were noticed by internet users, and therefore a heated debate took place.
