EXO’s Baekhyun has been making headlines after it was revealed that the member, along with Chen and Xiumin, will not be participating in the group’s upcoming comeback. Responding to the backlash, Baekhyun’s company, INB100, issued a strong warning against individuals responsible for spreading malicious and fake information about the artist. Read on to know more.
INB100 Shares Update On Legal Action Taken Against Baekhyun’s Malicious Commentators
On December 18th, INB100 released an official statement about the actions they have taken against individuals who have defamed or spread malicious content against Baekhyun. The agency revealed that it has filed formal complaints with investigative authorities on multiple charges, including defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act, insult, and violations of the Act on the Punishment of Stalking Crimes.
They mentioned a case which was filed with the Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul last April. The case concluded with a fine being imposed on the defendant. Additional active cases under investigation have been filed with the Gangnam Police Station in May, and the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s Cyber Investigation Unit in September are currently under active investigation.
“Some cases have already received meaningful legal judgments, while the remaining cases are proceeding strictly in accordance with legal procedures,” stated the agency and also listed major developments that have taken place in the cases that they have filed to protect the EXO member, listing:
– April 2025 – Gwangjin Police Station (Seoul): Fine imposed
– May 2025 – Gangnam Police Station (Seoul): Investigation currently in progress
– September 2025 – Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Cyber Investigation Unit: Investigation currently in progress

Profession-wise, Baekhyun is currently on a global world tour titled Reverie. The artist is set to hold a three-day concert in Seoul, from 2nd January to 4th. The K-pop idol was also set to join EXO in their upcoming comeback, but could not due to legal conflicts with SM Entertainment.
