The paparazzi have been notorious for shooting women celebrities from disturbing angles and invading their privacy. Back in the day, not many people spoke out against it, but as times changed more actresses have objected to being shot from very disturbing angles and have repeatedly asked the paparazzi not to do so. Mona Singh in a recent interview too spoke about this disturbing behaviour of paparazzi and called out their double standards for men.

Mona Singh On Disturbing Paparazzi Behaviour

Mona Singh pointed out the fact that while men are not treated with such behaviour, the majority of women are always filmed from inappropriate angles. She added how they keep focusing on women’s bodies inappropriately and asked “Will they ever zoom into a man’s crotch as he walks? The answer is no. But every woman is subjected to this,” she countered. Mona also condemned paparazzi for concentrating on wardrobe malfunctions as if they were waiting for one to happen to sensationalize their coverage.
Mona Singh also spoke about how after any event or show, these are the kind of photos and videos she sees. She also urged her fellow actors to raise their voices and take a stand against it.

Neha Sharma also expressed dissatisfaction with paparazzi and their invasive shots in particular. Speaking to India Today, she shared how these practices affect her sense of freedom and well-being. Neha also mentioned how sometimes she doesn’t want to be seen so she takes a break from the limelight, she added the fact that these are the things that actors have to do to stay relevant but the camera angles for shooting videos and photos get distasteful. As women, they lose their freedom to dress however they want in the public eye.
