A recent post by Aespa’s NingNing had worried fans, and they are demanding that the group’s company, SM Entertainment to treat the members of the girl group better. NingNing recently posted a video and a picture of herself, in which she is seen with an IV drip. The picture led fans to believe that the Aespa member is being overworked, which led to her health condition deteriorating.
Aespa NingNing’s Concerning Instagram Post
Aespa’s NingNing captioned the post with a tongue-in-cheek comment that read, “ha.ha.ha.” The picture also showed a sneak peek of Aespa’s upcoming single, ‘Dirty Work.’ This is what led Mys, Aespa’s fandom, to think that the singer is getting overworked to the extent that it is taking a toll on her health.
Mys was furious at SM Entertainment as the picture went viral immediately. Many accused the company of overworking Aespa and not providing them with sufficient time to rest and recover. The hashtag #PrioritizeAespasHealth began to trend on X (formerly Twitter). Supporters of Aespa continue to demand that all the members of the group be treated properly.
This is not the first time Aespa’s hectic schedule has been criticised. MYs have consistently been worried over the group’s well-being, particularly as members have had to sit out events and appearances because of illness. Supporters are now calling for SM Entertainment to recognise the physical and mental limitations of the artists and cease what they term as the “exploitation” of aespa. Most hope this went-viral moment will herald actual changes in the handling of the group going forward.
