K-pop fans were stunned to see three of the industry’s biggest names star in a project together yesterday! K-pop idols IVE Wonyoung, Aespa Karina and K-drama actor Byeon Woo Seok recently featured in an advertisement teaser together titled The Christmas Song. The advertisement was produced by Dolphiners’ official and directed by Shin Woo Seok, who is known for working on many NewJeans music videos like ‘ETA’ and ‘Ditto’. Read on to know more.

Netizens were mesmerised by the advertisement teaser that featured the three stars that takes place inside a church with IVE Wonyoung and Aespa Karina dressed as nuns while Byeon Woo Seok plays a priest. The imagery for the advertisement features gorgeous visuals showing Karina, Wonyoung and Woo Seok communicating during prayer and Byeon Woo Seok burning audio tapes.

The teaser did not reveal the exact plot, keeping fans on their toes, waiting patiently to see where the story goes. Netizens were also impressed to see the visual chemistry of the three stars together and how they fit the mysterious concept so well. Both Karina and Aespa are among the biggest K-pop idols in the industry right now, known for their beauty and singing talent; hence, seeing them together on screen was a big delight.
Career-wise, Aespa’s Karina is currently on a world tour with her group titled Synk: Aexis Line. She is confirmed to star in the second season of Netflix’s Agent of Mystery. She also featured in Jannabi’s recent single titled ‘May Tenderness Be With You’
IVE Wonyoung, on the other hand, recently was the MC for the Asian Artist Awards, maintaining her position for five consecutive years. The idol also released her debut solo song titled ‘Eight’ and performed it during IVE’s concert in Seoul.
