Is AndTeam’s K Sponsoring This Adult Club Hostess? Viral Photo Sparks Controversy!

Every day a new controversy around a K-pop idol surfaces online, and this week the name in the headlines is &Team’s K. It all started with one photo from an adult club hostess that went viral in minutes. The picture showed tall champagne towers with K’s name and “&Team” written on them, making thousands of fans believe the idol was secretly spending big money at a nightlife spot. The woman behind the post goes by Maocharu on Instagram. She works at a luxury host club in Japan where customers pay high prices for drinks and company. During her recent birthday party at the club, guests ordered six giant champagne towers as gifts. One of those towers carried the name K and &Team.

As soon as fans spotted the photo, they panicked. Many thought K had actually visited the club and paid for it himself. The entire social media platform was filled with angry and worried messages.

Following which, Maocharu stepped in to clear things up. She explained that regular customers chose the names on the towers as a light-hearted joke. They often pick their favourite idols or funny titles when they order big items. K has never been to the club, and he certainly did not pay for anything. She said this kind of playful naming is normal and almost never causes real trouble.

Even with her calm explanation, some fans remained protective. They feared the rumour could still harm K’s image. Many asked others to send reports to HYBE so the company knows about the situation and the false story stops spreading further.

User @ANDTEAMPROTECT_ wrote, “Our priority is to protect the artist and stop misinformation before it causes real damage.
Thank you for treating this matter with the seriousness it requires and for helping us protect. REPORT THIS ACCOUNT TO HYBE.”
