The announcement of the winner was made on November 20 during the prestigious ceremony, where Drops of God triumphed over strong contenders, including The Night Manager (India), The Newsreader Season 2 (Australia), and Iosi, El Espía Arrepentido Season 2 (Yosi, the Regretful Spy, Argentina).
Representing India, the team of The Night Manager, including lead actor Aditya Roy Kapur and director Sandeep Modi, attended the event. They showcased their presence on the global stage, and dressed impeccably for the occasion. Despite the loss, the show marked an important milestone for Indian content by being the sole nomination from the country across 14 categories at this year’s Emmys.
