Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar has broken a lot of records with its theatrical release. And after massively succeeding at the box office, many have become excited for the next part of the Ranveer Singh starrer. The film is set to release in theatres on March 19, and will clash at the box office with Yash-starrer Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups. Read to know more here.

Reports emerged that the film was being postponed to avoid the clash with Yash’s Toxic. And director Aditya Dhar has now reassured fans that there has been no delay after many fans took to their Instagram stories to share how much they loved the first part. One fan wrote, “I am still obsessed with it, and I still feel like watching it again and again… You are truly a GOAT director, can’t wait for Dhurandhar 2,” Dhar replied, “So sweet! Thanks! See you in cinemas on 19th March!”

Apart from Ranveer Singh, the film also stars Sara Arjun, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles.

About Yash’s Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown-Ups

The spy action thriller, directed by Aditya Dhar, draws inspiration from real-life geopolitical events such as the 1999 IC-814 hijacking, the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, and the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. The sequel will go into Ranveer Singh’s character Hamza’s history, following his ascension in Lyari and the conclusion of his covert anti-terror operation. The film also stars Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, and Rakesh Bedi, among others.
