Deeply affecting, The Voice of Hind Rajab, is all set to release in South Korean theatres. The film is based on the real story of a little girl who was trapped in a car while trying to escape the Gaza Strip. Her family members had all died, and the Palestinian Red Crescent Society stayed on call with her while they figured out how to get help to her. Korean Actor So Ji Sub Narrates The Trailer Of The Voice Of Hind Rajab
Based on a real incident that took place on January 29, 2024, where Hind Rajab waited to be rescued while on a call with emergency responders, it released its Korean trailer on March 17, 2026. So Ji Sub narrated the trailer, ending the moving snippet with a single line, “I’m adding my voice so Hind’s voice won’t disappear.”
In addition to voicing the trailer, So Ji Sub co-produced the movie in Korea, partnering with Firstman Studio (of Squid Game fame). His trailer is not the only one out. Similar narrative versions were released in Bae Doo Na and Lee Joo Young’s voices as well. Involving these celebrities has meant that audiences will pay a lot more attention to the film.
Most fans and social media commenters have spoken about how important it is that big stars are backing films like this. So Ji Sub was especially praised for pushing the film’s release in Korea, along with other big stars who voiced the trailers. It is hoped that more celebrities rally behind the film.
The movie will be released in South Korea on April 14, 2026. Meanwhile, as of publication, India remains the only country to have disallowed the release of The Voice of Hind Rajab over concerns of diplomatic relationships with Israel. Notably, the film has been released previously in the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, and more. South Korea will join this list of countries soon, supported by So Ji Sub.
