Recently, actor Eesha Rebba filed a police complaint against a social media page for putting out ‘defamatory’ and ‘obscene’ remarks for her. What Is The Complaint About?
As per the news reports, Eesha Rebba filed the FIR with the Banjara Hills police and it has been registered under the IT Act. Eesha Rebba has filed this FIR against a an Instagram page alleging the social media handle of using ‘derogatory’ remarks for her which had caused extreme emotional distress and public humiliation. As per a Mid-Day report, the Rebba said in her statement that the incident happened during some promotions when some social media page posted ‘obscene’ statement about her causing emotional distress and humiliation. She further alleged that a string of defamatory remarks continued to surface on social media under the disguise of freedom of expression.
Eesha Rebba has requested the authorities to look into the matter and hold the concerned people accountable for their actions. She has readily assured all kinds of assistance to the authorities in the matter.
