He expressed his frustration after new speculations once again paired his name with his co-contestant, despite both of them clarifying their stance multiple times in the past. The latest rumour about them surfaced after Jiya Shankar shared multiple pictures on Instagram featuring a mystery man. These images quickly went viral and sparked curiosity among fans and gossip circles, with many speculating that she had allegedly got engaged. Soon after, Abhishek Malhan’s name was dragged, and rumours about them sparked again following their stint on Bigg Boss OTT 2.

Jiya was quick to deny these engagement rumours and stated that reports linking her to Abhishek were false. And now, Malhan has also stepped forward to speak about the situation, urging people to stop dragging him into baseless links and making assumptions about his private life. On Thursday, January 1, Fukra Insaan took to his Instagram and wrote, “I want to make one thing very clear—please stop linking my name with anyone. I was part of a show three years ago, and that chapter ended there. My choices and stance were made very clear back then, and nothing has changed since.”

The Bigg Boss OTT 2 finalist also mentioned that such false narratives surface every year without any evidence. Calling it out, he also added that this has become a predictable pattern. He also emphasised that he had no interest in engaging with gossip about him and his personal life. As per him, such things distract from his professional journey and the work he was trying to focus on. He further requested everyone to stop.

Abhishek Malhan and Jiyaa Shankar formed a close bond during their time in the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house, prompting many viewers to speculate about a possible love relationship.
