It seems that Toxic starring Kannada actor Yash has already found itself in trouble even before its release. After the film’s latest teaser was released, the Aam Aadmi Party’s Women’s Wing has submitted a formal complaint to Karnataka State Women’s Commission. They have firmly expressed their objection to what was shown in the said teaser. Read on to know more details about the same.
AAP Women’s Wing Objects To Yash’s Toxic
According to NDTV, in the said complaint, the Aam Aadmi Party’s Women’s Wing alleged that the Toxic teaser shows “obscene visuals” that can affect the social well-being of children and women. Additionally, they also claimed that it undermines Kannada cultural values. The said political party’s women’s wing asked the Commission to direct the state government to cancel or withdraw Yash starrer film’s teaser immediately. According to the reports, the move was important to safeguard social morality and protect society’s vulnerable sections, said the AAP leaders. They also said that cultural sensitivity and responsibility must be adhered to by visual content on public platforms.

What Else Was Said In Complaint?
Further, the complaint mentioned that the teaser was released without any age restriction or warning, alleging that it can affect minors in a negativly and also compromises women’s dignity. For the unversed, apart from Yash, Toxic also stars Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Nayanthara and more. It is slated to hit theatres on March 19. As of now, netizens have been talking about the teaser nonstop and have also expressed their excitement to watch the film. It will be interesting to see if the makers or actors comment on the complaint made against the film’s teaser.
