In 2025, Aanand L Rai and Dhanush collaborated again for Tere Ishk Mein which also featured Kriti Sanon. The film has a successful run at the box office with mixed set of reviews from the audience. Now, it’s again back to making headlines and for very funny reasons. Many PhD students on social media are not approving of the 2,200 pages thesis that Kriti’s character Mukti submitted in the film. The users have shared their reactions on the same and they are hilarious.

What Is The Controversy About?

Kriti Sanon and Dhanush starrer Tere Ishk Mein recently released on Netflix. Now many people are yet again sharing their opinions on the same. Kriti Sanon plays the character of PhD student Mukti, and in one scene she submits her 2200 page thesis. As per the PhD students, this particular scene lacked logic and was not realistically true. One of them just wrote that they were having a hard time getting over the 2200 page thesis. Another commented from their personal experience and wrote that it took them almost 4 years to finish almost a 385 pages PhD thesis and that a 2200 page-thesis was ‘unbelievable’ and even ridiculous.

Another user also took a dig and while they accepted the creative liberty taken by the makers, they still expected them to be little a realistic. Others posted some funny memes as reaction to this scene. One X user also wrote that the recent films have just become ragebaits. There are several criticisms coming in from the PhD students.
