He revealed that they met 25 years ago and lost touch, but reconnected a couple of years ago.

Aamir Khan revealed that they only reconnected a couple of years ago. He admitted that they had been together for 18 months now. He joked about how he managed to hide it from the media all this time.
The actor revealed how he tried to prepare his partner Gauri for the ‘mad world of showbiz’ and even hired private security for her and her peace of mind. Gauri Spratt was previously married and resided in Bengaluru. Her son is six years old. According to Aamir, his family and children are ecstatic after meeting Gauri. ‘Bhuvan ko uski Gauri mil hi gayi’ was his parting remark, referencing his 2001 hit song Lagaan.
Reports and Reddit posts regarding Aamir dating a woman named Gauri had been circulating since last month. Aamir had a son named Junaid and a daughter named Ira from his previous marriage to Reena Dutta. After that, he wed Kiran Rao, with whom he had a son named Azaad. Despite their breakup a few years ago, they remain close friends, and last year he produced her film Laapataa Ladies.
