And no, it’s not coming out on any of the OTT platforms, instead it would be released with a Pay Per View model on YouTube. Read on to know more details.

What Is The Pay Per View Model?

Aamir Khan recently made a big announcement about the digital release of his recent film Sitaare Zameen Par. In his announcement, he revealed that the film will be released on YouTuber with a pay per model. In India, the film will be available for Rs 100, and the prices internationally would be decided as per the local markets.

As per Aamir Khan, this move was decided because YouTuber reaches to a larger audience and therefore the movie would be more easily accessible to audience on all demographics. The actor also spoke about making films reachable to everyone, and let them decide when, how and with whom to watch it with, therefore, this decision was accordingly taken now that he was also in the position of deciding the economics of a film. As per Aamir Khan, movies should be available at a reasonable price.
