I hope you remember the chartbuster hits like ‘Milegi Milegi’ and ‘Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe’ from the first part of Stree. Here’s the first song from Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Pankaj Tripathi starrer Stree 2. It’s titled ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ and stars Tamannaah Bhatia. Composed by Sachin-Jigar and sung by Madhubanti Bagchi, ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ is a tad bit similar to the dance tracks from Stree, however, this one’s a combination of ghazal and groovy beats. It’s an unusual mix and we’re still confused if this one’s working for us!

Aaj Ki Raat Song From Stree 2

‘Aaj Ki Raat’ features Tamannaah Bhatia, and the lyrics of the song are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. It’s a groovy song with catchy beats but the lyrics are more suitable for a ghazal track. Tamannaah’s choreography in the song is constructed to suit the beats as well as the lyrics. But is this combination working? If we separate the visuals from the song, then maybe, the track is refreshing because Madhubanti Bagchi’s soulful voice is really soothing to the ears. Alsom the lyrics are quite different from what you expect of Bollywood item songs! Tamannaah Bhatia as always has nailed the choreography in this one. She is effortless doing all the moves and the hook steps are surely making it to your Instagram reels. The lead actors Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi and others also feature in the song, but the track is owned by Tamannaah Bhatia.
