Tere Ishq Mein: New Song Usey Kehna Ft. Dhanush And Kriti Sanon Brings The Magic Of A.R. Rahman Back To Screens

“Usey Kehna” Song Details

“Usey Kehna” song provides those melodious tunes that your ears were probably craving. It’s the silent harmonies that speak volumes about the onscreen duo’s chemistry. Composed by A.R. Rahman, the track gives a peek into what the film has to offer in terms of emotional depth, which is bound to hit your soul. The lyrics are penned by none other than Irshad Kamil, along with Nitesh Aher and Jonita Gandhi, giving us the ultimate eargasms with their graceful voices.  The video shows a side of Kriti Sanon’s character, Mukti’s emotional journey and pain. The madness that being in love brings was perfectly depicted in Dhanush’s acting. 

Talking about the track, Rahman said that “Usey Kehna” was inspired by when they travelled to Himachal and saw the reflection of the mountains in the Ganges. He added that everything around had a hand in inspiring the creation of this song, and inspiring the film’s director and producer, Aanand L. Rai, Kamil and writer-producer, Himashu Sharma. The musician shared that it ended up evolving into something which is the bare minimum of piano, strings and Nitesh’s vocals. He hoped that the audience would enjoy it and get to feel what they felt while creating this song. The song also gives us a peek into the character arcs of both Dhanush and Kriti, who are minting an unforgettable love story for the screen.

Director Aanand L. Rai shared that music is a strong form of magic and he was privileged to witness the great “magician”, A.R. Rahman create it closely. He called this song “another gem” straight from their hearts.
