5 Thoughts We Have On David F Sandberg’s Horror Thriller Until Dawn!
David F Sandberg's Until Dawn has hit the theatres now and here are a few thoughts on it!

It’s been a long time since I watched a horror-thriller on the big screen, and therefore, I was quite excited for David F Sandberg’s Until Dawn. He is the director known for films like Shazam, Annabelle Creation and Lights Out. So well, the excitement was justified! Talking about the cast, the film features Ella Rubin, Michael Cimino, Odessa A’zion, Ji-young Yoo and Belmont Cameli among others. However, Until Dawn ended up serving some old horror thriller tropes packaged with new faces and random jump scares here are there. Here are our 5 thoughts on the film!
Story Dissapoints!
We always enter the theatres hoping that we will come out talking about a film’s intriguing plot, but well these days, that is hardly the case. Even Until Dawn ends up struggling with a predictable horror plot where a group of friends just manage to stay alive in the land of ghosts. It was yet another mindless horror thriller that failed to keep us on-the-edge-the seats with anything new, and the story also failed to have us invested in the film.
Direction
TBH, I had high hopes for David F Sandberg, and it was one of the reasons why I was looking forward to Until Dawn. But it was disappointing too. From a director or direction point of view, too, there was nothing that the film had to offer. It follows the overdone pattern of storytelling and the same formulas of random background scores to get a few jump scares!
Boring Characters
Even if a horror thriller is silly fun, there are some memorable characters in the film that have their moments or give comic relief to the plot. Unfortunately, Until Dawn does not even have memorable characters and is all just lazy writing.

Messaging
Okay, horror thrillers have some kind of moral to them and even this has one. But it’s the same as how friends should stick together and fight against evil because unity is strength.

Not Scary!
Until Dawn is not scary at all, even the ghost characters and creatures lack any kind of imagination and creativity. Nothing instill fears among the audience.
