Legendary group BTS has a massive fanbase around the world, and India is no exception! Indian BTS Army, also known as Desi Armys, cherish the seven men and are loud and proud about their love for them. Desi Armys tackle all kinds of challenges and boldly support each member’s solo activities and, of course, the entire group. Well, after supporting them for years, fans have only one dream, and that is for the group to hold a concert in India. And since the members are all set to reunite in June after their mandatory military services, the anticipation for a world tour which includes India is high. The fans are ready for it, and here are five reasons why they should plan a concert in India!
1. The Indian BTS ARMY Is Massive And Extremely Passionate
The first and foremost reason should be the fans who have been saving up for the concert (cries in broke) and are waiting for their dreams to come true. It would be a magical moment when fans from all over India come together and sing their favourite songs.
2. They Stream BTS’ Music Like Crazy (Pun Intended)
Indian fans are champs when it comes to streaming. India is one of the top countries blasting the group’s songs on platforms like Spotify and YouTube. Several fans stay up late or wake up early for new releases. They set goals for each comeback and successfully fulfil them. Hence, a concert would be the ultimate thank-you and a sweet return gift!
3. Cool Cultural Exchange
Imagine the members enjoying India’s street food and even wearing desi outfits – it would be heavenly. Well, who knows? We’ll get to see a collab with an Indian artist.
4. India Is All Ready for Big Concerts
From Coldplay to Ed Sheeran, India has become a hot spot for concerts. Our cities, like Mumbai, Bangalore, and more, have great venues to hold massive concerts and host international stars. Also, BTS could easily sell out our huge stadiums with their large fanbase. Plus, Indian ARMYs would scream every lyric word-for-word!
5. Emotional Healing
Last but not least, their music has helped Desi fans fight internal battles and overcome tough times. From academic stress to personal struggles, a concert would be extremely healing.
For the unversed, the group had planned a concert in India in 2020, but it was later called off due to Covid-19.
