2. A Doll Made Of Clay
Written and directed by Kokob Gebrehaweria Tesfay, an Ethiopian student at The Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute. Starring Geeta Doshi and Ibrahim Ahmed, the movie is about a young Nigerian footballer who sells his father’s property to pursue a football career in India but ends up suffering an injury which makes him quit. He then seeks an escape through the healing power of his ancestral rituals.

Directed by Indira Baikerikar, The Second Wind features stories of some incredible women including Mayura Shivalkar, who is a cancer survivor and a marathon runner and Nandinee Khosla, an actress who helps and supports cancer patients. Indira Baikerikar took the inspiration for her film from her daughter Mallika, a national level swimmer.
