Study Says 56% Indian Women Are Considering Gaming As A Full-Time Job. They Can Take Inspiration From These Female Indian Gamers!

Gaming as a profession for women was never really taken seriously. But well, those days are now gone. Because we have some fine examples who have not only proved themselves at par with the men in gaming but are also followed and looked up to by many aspiring gamers. To empower more such women gamers, a recent study has now suggested that women are considering gaming as a career prospect too and no longer looking at it just as a hobby. 

The study was conducted by HP India and is titled ‘HP India Gaming Landscape Study 2022.’ It was carried out in 14 cities of the country and had 2000 participants. The study is helpful to know the progress women are making in the field of gaming and how it is gradually becoming a thriving profession for them. The results of the study have revealed that at least 56 percent of women are now taking gaming as a serious field to make it their full-time or even part-time jobs, as per news.

As per 69 percent of the participants, personal computers are considered to be the best device for gaming, as it has better processors, and graphic and design capabilities. Some other interesting results that the study brought to light was that 32 percent of the women depend to enhance their gaming skills with the help of some good gamer, while only 2 percent have taken professional training. Some other purposes that gaming serves are socialising, mental sharpness, and of course entertainment.
