Head to Godrej L’Affaire For Your Dose Of The Wholesome Lifestyle

Every week, I write down a bunch of activities I want to do on the weekend. Come Saturday, I ignore the alarm and sink further into the blanket, resolutely refusing to move. And then, all of these things that I wanted to do get postponed to the next weekend. The following Saturday rolls around and guess what, I don’t move again. But I have realised that if I do have the motivation & something interesting to do, I will get up, shower (a big deal) and then actually step out and get stuff done.

So when I read that Godrej L’Affaire, which is a curated brand-agnostic experiential lifestyle platform by the Godrej Group, is back, I was excited. I’ve been to this before, and it’s the best way to spend your weekend. This time, it’s going to be held in Mumbai on Saturday, February 22 at Godrej One, Vikhroli. Bhumi Pednekar, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Monisha Jaising, Shantanu Moitra, Sushant Divgikr, Karanvir Bohra are going to be around and indulging in some fun activities. The theme this year is ‘New Beginnings: Going Back to Roots’, an ode to India’s unparalleled legacy and vibrant culture.

One of the events that has us excited is a cook-off session between Bhumi Pednekar and Chef Varun Inamdar, while they have a fabulously fun conversation on how to bake a blockbuster. Karanvir Bohra and Teejay Sidhu will also be there, dropping truth bombs that millennial parents will relate to on inculcating spirituality in their children through travel.

There’s also going to be a session by music director Shantanu Moitra talking about the inspiration behind many of his hit songs, inspired by his 100-day fascinating adventure across the Himalayas. India’s top designers and architects will also be there discussing how sustainable designs are the need of the hour and how we simply cannot choose to ignore it any more. This will be followed by an exclusive evening gala (Yay! I’ve been invited) featuring ace couturiers Monisha Jaising & Shweta Bachchan Nanda who will have the first-ever runway show of their luxury pret label MxS. Another session we are particularly looking forward to is by actor, singer and the bonafide superstar of the Indian drag scene, Sushant Divgikar, who will don his Rani Ko-He-Nur avatar for a musical performance with his band TopStorey. We can’t wait!
