5 Indian Female Photographers Who Show A New World Through Their Lens
Photographs do not just capture a moment but freeze that moment forever. Pictures also take us back in time and we reminisce the moment when the shot was taken or refresh our memories as well. Photographs also tell a story. A picture worth a thousand words, they say, and this saying definitely stands true. There are pictures that drive the message home and hit harder than even words do. Today is International Photography Day. The day when we celebrate the people behind the lens, the ones who capture beautiful shots, the ones who see something extraordinary even in the most ordinary-looking picture and the ones who hold the power to shift to convey things through their perspective.
On International Photography Day, I would like to draw your attention to five female Indian photographers who brought about a tectonic shift in the way they showed pictures through their lenses.
