Falguni Pathak And Neha Kakkar’s Union On ‘Indian Idol’ Leaves Fans Wondering If Their ‘Lafda’ Was Scripted!
Neha Kakkar rocked Falguni Pathak’s fans’ world when her new song O Sajna was dropped because it is a remake of the latter’s all-time greatest hit Maine Payal Hai Chhankai. Obviously, music lovers and Pathak’s fans both have not liked the song and have taken to social media to slam Kakkar for ‘ruining’ their childhood by making a crappy remake of their favourite tracks. Well, we didn’t like the remake either!
The OG artist of the track, Falguni, took a subtle jibe at Neha by resharing her fans’ posts who have dissed the latter for the remake. While, Neha, too, gave a karara response to all those who were trolling her. But things took a weird turn for Pathak’s fans when the singer appeared on Indian Idol and was seen happily interacting with Neha. This incident led a lot of people to believe that this whole feud between the two singers was scripted or not.
This has sparked a debate among the fans who went on to feel disappointed about defending their favourite artists. One of them tweeted, “my trust issues started when i learnt Falguni Pathak and Neha Kakkar e-lafda was scripted ?.”

Now, a whole lot of people immediately rushed in to stand by Falguni Pathak and said that the Indian Idol episode was shot before Neha Kakkar’s O Sajna song was released, and also that she was not aware of the remake. One of the Twitter users also went on to point out that Pathak was really not aware of the remake because she also had spoken about how bad it was.

Well, given the course and timeline of the events, it is understandable why the fans thought that the Falguni Pathak-Neha Kakkar issue was scripted. Also, Kakkar dropping the song just around Navratri when it is Falguni’s time to shine, is also quite suspicious, to be honest! Well, scripted or not, both the singers have gotten so much publicity in the last 2-3 days that the ones who weren’t aware of the remake have now gone to watch it on YouTube and also have listened to Pathak’s classic track as well. So, both benefitted from this issue! All’s well that ends well, na?
