Twitter User Says Men Are Kinder Towards Attractive Women. People Say, Isn’t The Same True For Women?
It's a harsh truth!

The harsh reality of this world is that physical appearance always matters. No matter how much one says that it is a secondary thing about a person, you cannot deny that it is in fact the first thing you will notice in a person. On these lines, a Twitter user chose to put forth a strong opinion when she said how men can be biased in relationships depending on a woman’s physical appearance. This comment became a forum for an elaborate discussion where the other users put forth their views.

A Twitter user Paromita Bardoloi wrote that men treat women differently and this primarily depends on their looks. She went on to write that if a woman is beautiful, men tend to give them more levy in friendships or relationships. But, unfortunately, they behave differently with women who do not fit the “Criteria” of being attractive. Another criterion that the user added to this was the talent of being well-educated.
Men are always kinder to women who they find attractive. They forgive them more and give them more chances in friendships.
God forbids, they don't find you attractive, they act very differently.— Paromita Bardoloi (@Paromitabardolo) February 23, 2023
I see this everywhere. When you are attractive you get more chances at many things. And if you are educated and well spoken. Tab toh you will be given more and more chances.

Well, many Twitter users agreed with the OG tweet but then there were some people who believed that this is the case even in the corporate world. Elaborating on the same, one user wrote that if a girl is beautiful, she has a higher chance of getting a promotion than other girls or boys.
Absolutely true.
Here is another observation
The opportunities that beautiful women get beats not only other girls but also all boys.

Corporate hiring is one of the example of above tweet.

Twitter users were also of the opinion that if physical appearance matters to men, then for women, this differentiating factor was money. Going through the comments under the OG tweet, it was very evident that people believed that this bias does not come from just one side. It works in the same manner for women too. Users wrote that physical appearance was a common criterion for both genders to base their first impression of each other. Here are some of the tweets on it.
I agree with you, but the same is applicable for men too, good looking tall men are treated differently by both genders. It is Halo effect. It gets more pronounced for women as in society mostly men are in places of power. Also some women take advantage of this for their benefit.

I think this applies to both genders. Good Looks can help one to get away with a lot of things

This is not a gendered behavior at all lol, works pretty much the same the other way around

I agree, but I feel this applies for both genders. We humans tend to be nicer to those who appeal to our senses.

Applicable both ways. Women are kinder and more patient with men they find attractive too. Probably an evolutionary thing. I doubt evolution cares about workplace etiquette and social dynamics. 😂

Well, most of the users’ perspectives came from either their personal experiences or by observing the world around them.
