Twitter Discusses How Love In 30s Is Different From 20s. It’s Bang On!
It's so relatable!A study claims that people can fall in love at least 3 times in their lives and each one is different from the other. While the first one is an idealistic, dreamy love where we hope for a happy ending, the second one is more mature but also tough and teaches you important life lessons. But the 3rd love is the one that you don’t see coming. It’s easy, effortless and simple without any drama or complications. It’s one that gives your peace and not butterflies. And this 3rd love usually comes after a certain age after we have a mature understanding of a lover which is usually in our late 20s or in our 30s or so I believe. Much in line with this thought, a Twitter user asked netizens in their 30s to share how love is different now as compared to what it was like in their teenage years and in their 20s. And it’s safe to say that the answers are rather relatable.
People in the 30’s. What does it feel to find love now? How different is it from when you were a teenager and in your 20’s.

Taking to Twitter, a user asked people to share what’s different about falling in love in their 30s and back when they were teenagers or in their 20s. Sharing their thoughts netizens opened up about how love in the 30s is more mature and practical and focuses on things like communication, trust and respect and one doesn’t have time for bullshit.
It's so practical, thought-through, no time or energy for bullshit, communication is top tier important, and also the very very real feeling of trust > love
It's beautiful 🥺

A user shared how love in the 20s is all about the chase but in the 30s it’s about finding comfort and a middle ground. TBH, we can totally relate.
As cliched as it may sound, found it when I was least expecting it and haven't been more happier. I think 20s is all about the chase and that wears you down. 30s is about finding that solid middle/comfort zone.

20s – butterflies in the stomach – exhilarating
30s – warm hot chocolate on a winter night – relaxingAnd much more

Another Twitter user shared that love in the 30s is something that makes you feel warm and at home but in the 20s, it’s more about the spark and the rush and the adventure. Adding it to this, another user spoke about how love in the 20s is about chemistry and love in the 30s is about compatibility.
Great question 💯
30's love feels more like the love i knew as a child – warm, homely, omnipresent and familiar. Feels like a love that's more allowing for me to be me.
Teens and 20s felt more exciting, brash, dramatic and adventurous. More like a me trying to find me.

Aside from all the accurate answers others have given, here’s my two cents. I think in your 30s, you learn that chemistry and compatibility are two different things. Compatibility over chemistry any day :)

feels like the distinction between ‘settling down’ with someone and ‘falling in love’ becomes more nuanced. you take your own sweet time to discover the other person but funnily you don’t mind the pace . more wholesome i’d say!

TBH, this is sooo relatable, isn’t it? As much as we love the crazy, man, passionate love in our 20s, as we age, we seek something that’s more mature. And let’s be honest, love should be something that makes us feel at peace.
