This Bride Just Pulled Off The Sassiest Bridal Entry Wearing An Embellished Pink Pant Suit, Sunglasses And Kaleeras
Our mom’s generation was probably the last one that had brides that were coy and bashful. Now, women are officially letting go of those shy smiles and lowered gazes at their wedding. They are not only unapologetically themselves but believe in showing off their personal brand of sass on their big day. In weddings today, every tiny detail from decor to outfits are personalised to reflect the couple’s personality. So brides pretending to be someone they are not, that is shy and timid, doesn’t really make sense. The modern brides of 2021 are getting experimental with their fashion, makeup and bridal entry. From having their bridal photoshoots in shorts to wearing a pant suit for their entry, these brides are making their wedding unforgettable and Insta-worthy.
Remember the OG pant suit bride, Sanjana Rishi, who created a wave by ditching the conventional lehenga for a powder blue pant suit? She thought a bride shouldn’t be obliged to fit into any mould, cultural or otherwise. Taking inspiration from a similar school of thought perhaps, another bride donned a pant suit instead of a traditional outfit for her bridal entry, and this might just be the coolest bride you have come across.

Sakshi Shaha challenged the bridal fashion norms by wearing a chic pant suit in bright pink featuring colourful embroidery and embellishments that gave it a very traditional appeal. She wore a matching set of a jacket and flared pants with a white crop top underneath it. She teamed her outfit with the conventional bridal accessories like polki jewellery, matha patti and kaleeras which looked pretty offbeat but stunning. Also, she topped off the look with pink oversized sunglasses that totally stole the show.
Although she didn’t wear this trendy look for the wedding ceremony and donned a bunch of traditional outfits like a saree for her mehendi and mangal snan and lehenga for the actual wedding, we love her decision to take things up a notch for her entry. She entered the wedding venue with her husband-to-be, who was perfectly colour-coordinated with her in an embellished pink gilet jacket and kurta. They entered in a jeep dancing and indulging in some cute PDA, which according to her caption on a post was a ‘swagat entry Punjabi style’.

There’s no rule that says you have to stick to skirts, suits and sarees as a bride. A lot of brides have been opting for unconventional and cool wedding outfits, for their pre-wedding ceremonies, too. From wearing a minidress for their mehendi to rocking a playsuit for haldi, brides are changing the rules left, right and centre. If you think wearing a pant suit or any other contemporary outfit on your wedding ceremony would be too much of a cultural shock for your desi fam (we get ya), you can totally wear a modern outfit like this for your bridal entry. This would not only make for a quirky pre-wedding affair but would also dole out some really cool pictures for you to post on your social media.
