Exclusive: “I Hate When Women Are Ashamed Instead Of The Man When Harassed,” Nargis Fakhri Recalls Audition Days
Very true

Women bear the brunt of men’s actions and often end up feeling ashamed, more than the culprit. Speaking about the same, actress Nargis Fakhri arrived on the latest episode of The Male Feminist and spoke to host–Siddhaarth Aalambayan about her bad experiences while giving auditions. Going back to her modelling days, the actress spoke about this one instance, where she felt uncomfortable attending an audition.
She further mentioned–”There was this one time, where the person did something weird, but it seemed like it wasn’t inappropriate, like it was an accident and I was like I am not staying here, this guy is weird. I took my stuff and left my job.” She further pointed at this one thing which she dislikes the most, and it is when someone feels sorry instead of the man who did something inappropriate. She added–”I hate it when the woman is scared and quiet and I hate that. I mean, why is the woman ashamed and scared, while the other person should be ashamed.”

Fakhri said that women should call out this behaviour and not be embarrassed because they did not do anything wrong. She also spoke about the importance of consent and how people should just learn the word “No.” During this episode, the actress openly expressed her views on feminism, growing up as an independent woman, receiving success for Rockstar and more.
