Hautetalk: Media’s Obsession With Dissecting Bianca Censori’s Body Publicly Is Very Disturbing. Get A Life!
People on the internet were quick to dissect Bianca Censori's body after her appearance at the Grammy Awards 2025.

In an era where women’s autonomy over their bodies should be respected and celebrated, speculative commentary over Bianca Censori’s personal choices is not only invasive but also profoundly insensitive. Since her recent appearance at the 2025 Grammy Awards, people on the internet have been openly speculating about her body and even surgeons pooled their opinions about possible procedures such as labiaplasty. Such evaluations are a gross projection of invasion of privacy and scrutinising a woman’s body without consent.
Why Is Bianca Censori’s Choices Talk Of The Town?
Urologist Dr Milhouse, for instance, suggested that Censori might have undergone a minor reduction of labia tissue to achieve a smoother appearance. This assertion, made without any direct knowledge or consultation, is a clear example of objectifying a woman’s body. Beyond being a privacy violation, this type of discussion is a symptom of a much larger problem—society’s relentless and sexist fixation on analysing women’s bodies.
Years after men obsessing over natural things like cellulite and stretch marks to endless speculations and judgements about cosmetic surgeries, this behaviour is deeply rooted in misogyny. Men in the public eye are rarely subjected to this level of physical scrutiny. No one is writing detailed think pieces about male celebrities’ intimate anatomy, yet women are constantly under a microscope, their every curve and feature up for debate.
It’s imperative to recognise that any medical procedure, especially those of a deeply personal nature, is a private matter for the individual. The decision to undergo cosmetic surgery is complex and multifaceted, influenced by personal desires, medical reasons, or a myriad of other factors. Publicly speculating about such decisions not only trivializes them but also invades the personal space that every individual is entitled to.
Kim Kardashian, another woman closely tied to Kanye West, has often pointed out the pressure she faced to dress a certain way and conform to his vision. Marilyn Monroe, an icon of beauty and allure, was often reduced to her physical appeal rather than acknowledged for her intelligence and talent. The pattern is clear—powerful men in the entertainment industry often attempt to mould women to fit their idealized standards, stripping them of their agency in the process.
It’s high time that society moves on from scrutinising a woman’s body as their breakfast talk and rather shifts their issues towards problematic men who impose power. Everyone has the right to privacy over their decisions on their body and such dissections perhaps shouldn’t be happening on the internet.
