Sanya Malhotra’s Fun And Flirty Outfits For The Promotions Of Pagglait Are So Cool It’s ‘Crazy’
Celebrities (and their stylists, obviously) put in a lot of thought in their outfits everytime they make a public appearance. Their red carpet gowns take weeks to get done, their wedding outfits are planned and put together months in advance and the same goes for every tiny or big event they attend or host. Their outfits they wear for the press junkets and promotions of their upcoming movies are no different. In fact, they often synchronize their looks with their character or the theme of the film. And, that’s the most interesting thing about tracking these promotional looks of the celebrities. Take Sanya Malhotra’s promotional wardrobe for her next Netflix film, Pagglait, which mostly consists of fun and quirky outfits which are in line with her character Sandhya Giri.
Malhotra plays a young widow who is full of life and madness and has her quirks. I mean, for one, she is unable to cry when her husband dies. Although her character is dressed in simple styles in soothing colours, Sanya seemed to have gone for a manic wardrobe with eccentric prints and colour blocking for the promotions to probably communicate the colourful persona of the character. She plays around with neons, fun prints, colourblocking and interesting cuts and silhouettes. There is a classic saree too making an appearance but all the looks are crazy cute, or completely pagglait! Sanya Malhotra kickstarted the promotions with a strappy white dress that featured quirky pocket detailing, tiny centre slit and an interesting front panel design. It had musical notes printed all over which made it even cuter. This is a very feminine day look that could easily be your movie date outfit or something you could wear to brunch with your girls. She styled the look with pretty peep-toe heels.

Sanya wore a basic white crop top with an interesting pair of trousers, wide-legged pants featuring cow print, but it was her neon green jacket that stole the show. Although the crazy combo of neons and animal print could be too much for a fashion minimalist, since Sanya was in a mood to go overboard with quirky style, this was a total win-win. She styled the look with huge hoops and black heels.

This is one classic look she dropped which was less funky and more timeless. She wore a black saree with a stunning sleeveless blouse for the second day of the promotions and paired the outfit with a bun adorned with red and pink flowers that added a pop of colour to the look.
