I feel like the older I get, the harsher I am on my younger self. To be fair, I am always harsh on myself but the fact is, when we gain more experience and get smarter in life, it is easy for us to look back at young people or even versions of our younger selves and judge them for the choices they make. So why shame your past self?
Life doesn’t particularly come with instructions. Let’s be honest, we are all just winging it, one day at a time. And at times like these, who better to turn to than older people who can tell us if we are doing something wrong? This reddit thread was filled with insightful and non-judgemental opinions by women of the internet. While we are all bound to falter and make mistakes as we go through life, it is obviously great to be able to gain some knowledge from people who have experience. And if you are too worried about what you are doing wrong, don’t be. Because no one lives a life with no mistakes and neither will any of us. We might as well do our best and learn along the way.
