The text of the screenshot that was shared by the actress in her story read, “The wife of Nick Jonas shared…” It quoted Priyanka Chopra talking about Keanu Reeves, her co-star in the upcoming Hollywood movie. Priyanka highlighted that text and wrote, “Very interesting that I’m promoting one of the most iconic film franchises of all time, and I’m still referenced as ‘the wife of…’”

Honestly, I’m as surprised as she is. I mean, why are we still referring to women as the wife of someone and stripping them of their identity? They have their own identity to account for. I’m glad that someone called out this kind of sexism.
