Straight from the City of pearls and diamonds, Hyderabad, the 23-year-old diva is all set to represent India at the 70th Edition of the beauty pageant on December 16, 2021. It will be held at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico Jose Miguel Agrelot in San Juan. And after Harnaaz Sandhu won the Miss Universe title earlier in the week, bringing the crown home after 21 years, the expectations for Manasa are even higher!

In February 2020, Manasa Varanasi was crowned Miss India World. She completed her schooling from Global Indian and completed graduation in computer science from Vasavi College of Engineering and started working as a Financial Information Exchange Analyst. She stepped into the world of beauty pageants because of her curiosity for new challenges.
Manasa Varanasi is highly influenced by actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who is also the winner of the Miss World 2000 Pageant. Manasa is trained in the classical dance form of Bharatanatyam. To maintain her health, she practices yoga and enjoys reading books and listening to music in her spare time. Her mother, grandmother, and younger sister are the most influential beings in Manasa’s life.

She believes in bringing out a change in society with her positive attitude and mindset and that is so inspiring. She has worked with local NGOs and used to teach English and Mathematics to underprivileged children. As part of her ‘Beauty With A Purpose’ project (BWAP), Manasa has been working actively with the Telangana government and has launched the new ‘1908 campaign’. Her BWAP project made it to the Top 10 at Miss World 2021 and made India super proud of her. She shared the news on social media and wrote, “Heart overflowing with gratitude! India, we made it to the Top 10 of Beauty with a Purpose round at Miss World 2021.”

If she wins the title for Miss World 2021, her dream is to continue supporting causes she has been passionate about and she also wishes to join the media and entertainment industry.
