Man Glorifies His 70 YO Mother For Making His Bed Everyday, Twitter User Calls Him A “Man-Child”
Such men don't have sense or what?

People go on social media platforms to brag about anything and everything these days. Sometimes, you might come across tweets only to ask yourself, yeh likhne ki kya zaroorat thi. Also, people don’t realise how putting forth some stupid statements in the name of compliments can lead to a severe backlash on social media. One Twitter user did the exact same thing after bragging about his 70-year mother making his bed every day despite asking her not to. Now, other Twitter users have reacted to this post and condemned the man’s behaviour of making his mother work and glorifying her in the name of Maa Ka Pyaar.

A Twitter user by the name of Kishore K Swamy shared a post about his 70 YO mother making his bed every day despite him asking her not to. He further called his mother’s behaviour ‘The power of home-maker’, and wrote that she does this out of love because she is not bounded to do it. The Twitter user also compared this motherly love to a part of our dharmic (religious) value system.
Though 70+ my mom ensures that when I reach home , my bed is comfortable. The power of a home maker. There is no compulsion for her to do it. Yet she does it out of love. The value system that our dharma has inculcated protects this society. pic.twitter.com/t58Fir5IrT

Many other Twitter users bashed the man and called him a man-child. People criticised him for not being a good son and helping his mom with these chores, instead glorifying her actions on social media as Maa Ka Pyaar. Here are the various criticisms on the Twitter user’s post.
As a mother of an 18 yr old I've taught him to make his own bed & cook his own breakfast since he was 14. I would never want my son to expect / depend on mummy or wife to do his own work in the name of value system
On a separate note it's good to see a fit & able septuagenarian.— lilcheepcheep (@lilcheepcheep) July 9, 2023
I pity your mother for having such a useless son. https://t.co/18Fr2HGyII

The value system that our dharma has inculcated is so powerful that we want to flaunt all its wrongs as long as they're making us "comfortable".
+Women homemakers are "lovingly" protecting this society so that trad men can have alcohol while they discuss the greatness of dharma. https://t.co/8bPOtr1x5E— Odd Concoction (@_Odd_Concoction) July 8, 2023
making your 70 year old mom make your bed is literally the opposite of dharma methinks https://t.co/l7r5WhXeS5

Your mom is 70+ atp you should make your own bed along with hers and massage her legs as well. And let her rest ffs
Your 70yo mom doing chores for you is not a flex as you think it is brag when you do smth for your mother and bring a smile on her face https://t.co/Pmyr3rWqx2— Naina 🌺 (@myclumsycloud) July 9, 2023

I mean, this Twitter post is the prime example of showing off a lack of etiquette on social media but layering it with words like motherly love and religion that aligns well with our Indian culture. In today’s time, nobody buys such BS any longer, in fact, people are quick enough to see right through the individual and their flaws, and well bash them accordingly. Also, it’s no “Power of a home-maker” rather it’s just pure laziness on the Twitter user’s part and there’s no way he can cover it by using empowering words. LOL!
