Lisa Haydon Shares 3 Comfy Dresses From Her Wardrobe That Work For Maternity Wear And Beyond

Your wardrobe needs a few tweaks to dress your growing bump when you are pregnant. The obvious move is to add some maternity pieces like loose dungarees, dresses one size up and ditch clothes that have no give and are bound to become unflattering once you deliver. While you sure can rewear them if you decide to get pregnant again, that’s not really a wise choice fashion-wise. What you can do is pick styles that not only last you all through the pregnancy but also remain wearable and stylish after the baby arrives. Lisa Haydon who’s pregnant with her third child might have seen her clothes from previous two pregnancies go to waste after which she created a maternity wardrobe that she could slip into all year around.

Haydon has an impeccable style and her maternity dressing is a reflection of her fuss-free style statements. From bumpsuit to chic dresses, she has styled her baby bump in some really cool styles that every mum-to-be would want to steal. However, recently, she shared her three absolute favourite dresses from her maternity wardrobe that are roomy, comfy and could last you through all months of pregnancy and even beyond. Honestly, preggers or not, you’d want to add these cute and comfy dresses to your wardrobe regardless. Take a look.

A tent dress

The first dress she posted was a tent dress. The spacious dress has no waistline and thus flows freely on your body. It’s extremely breezy and perfect for mums who want something non-fitted, trendy and uber comfy. Lisa wore a black tent dress from fashion label Cecilie Bahnsen and wrote in the caption, “The tent dress …. I’ve been rocking a few versions of this silhouette lately. It’s my most go to comfy outfit. Fitting on the top and then soooo much space under that I can actually forget how much space I’ve been taking up lately.”

A fit and flare shirt dress

The next one from her maternity style is a godsend for fashion minimalists. It’s a white shirt dress from Zara. The fit and flare dress is tiered from bust down which gives ample room to your bum. She wrote, “Didn’t get to post my full story today- duty called! This dress has fit from non pregnant life, till now, almost 9months pregnant and beyond. Faithful @zara”

A sexy bodycon

The last dress from her wardrobe was a sexy knitted bodycon dress in bottle green. We absolutely love the square neckline that’s sultry but not plunging or low cut. A ribbed knit dress is super stretchable and thus would fit you equally well in all stages of your pregnancy. This is a kind of dress that you can lounge all day in and wear it to date night without going through the hassle of changing your outfit. Also, you really don’t need to style it. It’s a gorgeous fashion piece in itself.
