Guys, Your Oversized Winter Blazer Is So Versatile. Here’s How To Style It 5 Ways Before Winter Ends

While decluttering my closet a few months back (which is a ritual of tossing my sundresses in the trunk and making some space for my pullovers, jumpers and sweatshirts), I realised I have hoarded a bunch of blazers in the past few years. Reason? Blazers were having a moment in the fashion world. I mean, although this classic winter clothing has never really gone out of style, the rage just picked up in recent times with the arrival of pantsuits. The baggy, elongated and oversized blazers with tailored pants was the hottest style and so, being the trend loyalist that I am, I spoilt myself with some really cool blazers and added them to my winter (and summer) wardrobe.

I was really excited to play up the blazers I’ve invested in and style them multiple ways. If you too have some blazers lying around that are a part of the co-ord set or pantsuits and are clueless about what to do with them since no parties and pantsuit-worthy events are lined up, here’s what you can do. You can wear them separately and mix and match with your other clothes to take your style statement up a notch. Plus, since its winters, blazers make for the perfect piece to experiment with and slay the layer trend too. You can wear your blazer with denims, skirts, dress or simply wear the whole piece as the dress. There are no rules!

Here are five ways you can style your oversized blazer before it’s too late (I mean, before summer arrives and you need to put them in the trunk again).

No dress, no problem! Your oversized blazer can double up as a jacket dress. You need a double-breasted style to pull off this look, though for a streamlined and sophisticated look. Pair it with thigh-high boots and add a broad waist belt if it’s much roomier for your figure. Also, make sure it’s proper length for you to avoid any wardrobe malfunctions.

With a skirt

There are million ways you can style a blazer with a skirt and the best thing is you can never go wrong. Seriously!
