Greta Thunberg Got Her ‘Badla The Revenge’ From POTUS Donald Trump With The Most ‘Chill’ Tweet!
Current POTUS Donald Trump has the worst track record on Twitter. From committing ‘covfefe’ to tweeting like a 5-year-old on a sugar rush, he’s done it all. His Twitter has been the source for comic relief when his otherwise problematic decisions make the American citizens want to hit their head against the wall. Especially, when he choses to mock other people with these very condescending statements. Remember when he asked teen Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg to ‘chill’ because, well, we all know his stance on climate change, don’t we? Turns out, Karma indeed came back for the POTUS, as Greta got sweet, sweet revenge by throwing shade back at him at the opportune moment, the US Elections! And she did it so ‘coolly’ which makes it even more funny. Twitter’s loving it.
Almost a year ago, in December 2019, Greta Thunberg was named Person Of The Year by TIME magazine for 2019. While everyone else was congratulating her. Donald Trump, made an almost petulant attempt at marring the joy by tweeting the Greta needed to “work on her anger management problem”. This was clearly in reference to her “How Dare You” speech in September where she called out world leaders, assembled at the UN, for their lack of response to the climate change problem.

Now if you’ve followed Greta Thunberg’s Twitter, you’ll know that she does sass better than most adults. Every time she came across such condescending tweet from POTUS Trump or any other person who told her to act her age or do kiddie things instead of worry about the environment, she would replace her Twitter bio with their words. She did it for this tweet too and it was hilarious!

As the vote counting goes on in the United States for the 2020 presidential race, the US Elections results are driving a lot of people up the wall with anxiety. Yes, even Indians, as it rightly should because who heads one of the most powerful countries in the world should be of concern to everyone. While at first, it seemed as if Trump was in the lead, it appeared that it was probably because only the in-person votes had been counted until then. Due to the pandemic, there were thousands of voters who sent across their ballots via post. And once those began getting counted, Joe Biden took the lead. The Trump campaign has now levelled a bunch of lawsuits against different states citing some ‘jhol’ in the ballots and even called most of them fake.
As he goes on to lose not just votes but these legal suits as well, naturally, Donald Trump has been tweeting some pretty hysterical stuff on Twitter, including misleading statements and proclamations that the platform itself had to hide with a message.
Yesterday, though, the POTUS called for a stop to the counting of the votes. And while his tweet earned a lot of flak from the citizens and media, it made for a great new Twitter meme.
