Apart from all the saucy drama that unfolds every day on the Bigg Boss House (whatcha think of it BTW?), there’s another thing that’s keeping us hooked to the TV screen and it is Gauahar Khan’s swoon-worthy fashion picks on the show. I’ve always loved Gauahar’s fashion statement; it’s refreshing, chic and very millennial-esque. That’s probably why I started following her on Instagram a couple years back. However, her style files at the BB14 House have got me seriously impressed.
The ex-contestant of the show and winner of Season 7 is now making rules for the freshers this time. Speaking of rules, she is also making new rules of style for the millennials with her fuss-free yet show-stopping looks. She is seen sporting effortlessly trendy styles, sweeping anarkalis, body-hugging dresses and stylish co-ords inside the house. When her glamourous side is off-duty, she can be spotted lounging in her cute pyjama sets, which is even cooler. How can someone look so stylish in their PJs? I mean, I look like a person who hasn’t slept in a year and I’m not even exaggerating. Maybe I need a wardrobe revamp, too.
We are crushing over Gauahar’s take on millennial fashion in the house and here five different looks we are specifically bookmarking for everything from work to date night (you know, for the wardrobe revamp). These looks serve as style inspo that would work for literally every occasion you could think of. Take a look.
Gauahar is the most transparent person in the house and likes to keep it real, we know that. However, we didn’t know she is of the same opinion when it comes to her fashion as well. This white-on-white outfit from Ahmev India featuring gathered shirt and pleated pants looks super comfortable and makes for an appropriate sartorial pick for the BB House. She nailed the casual chic look.
It’s not often that we see Gauahar draped in the nine yards of fabric. We have seen her in summery kurtas, bodycon dresses and cool denims a lot of times but saree is something she is rarely rocks. I can’t think of a reason why, because she clearly can pull it off like a dream, case in point, this Sreya Samanta saree with a lime green statement blouse she wore in one of the episodes. It is definitely on my wish list now.
Gauahar’s doesn’t need no power play tactics in the house, her fashion does it for her. The tailored pantsuit in toned down shade of purple is from Sonam Parmar Jhawar and Gauahar paired it with a ribbed knit tube in the same lilac shade. The neon orange on the lapels of the jacket is giving it life. Love! Taking notes on how you play girl boss and a fashionista at the same damn time.
The only thing spicier than the feuds between Rubina Dilaik and the co-contestants on this week’s Weekend Ka Vaar episode was Gauahar’s sheer black maxi dress by clothing label Esha Sethi Thirani. It’s the perfect date night dress featuring plunging neck and super sexy bralette top underneath. Gauahar knows how to do sexy and here is your proof, in case you needed one.
Gauahar’s powder blue polka dot co-ord set from Select And You is equal parts relaxed and cool. Love the button-down A-line skirt and ruffle details on the hem of the tops. How is she holding up being trapped in a house wearing something so pretty and vacation worthy is beyond me. Don’t know about you but simply looking at her outfit is making me want to go on a beach vacay ASAP.
It’s clear that Gauahar brought her fashion A game and is nailing every look in the house like a boss. But, then what else do you expect from a former beauty pageant finalist and a fashion label founder (her brand Gauahergeous). Her effortless style is perfect for every millennial girl and we are digging the looks. Also, her fashion game on the show is something that seriously distracts us from the silly mind games and fights, and we are glad that her eye-catching looks are interesting enough.
My beauty corner is witnessing a bit of a coup. Till now, the foundations, concealers…
