‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ First Reviews Are Out. Vicky Kaushal, Riddhima Kapoor And Others Laud Alia Bhatt And Sanjay Leela Bhansali
I feel like Gangubai Kathiawadi is arguably the most anticipated Bollywood release so far in 2022. And can we be blamed for being this hyped about it? Alia Bhatt’s stunning new avatar paired with the famed Bhansali visuals is surely bound to create magic on screen. Many B-Town celebrities attended the premiere of the movie and the reviews so far have been super positive. After Riteish Deshmukh’s raving reviews about Gangubai Kathiawadi, Vicky Kaushal, filmmaker Shashank Khaitan and Ranbir Kapoor’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni took to Instagram to praise the movie.
As if Riteish Deshmukh’s Twitter thread wasn’t enough to get us all hyped for the release of Gangubai Kathiawadi, we have reviews that have rolled in from other B-Town celebrities as well. One of them is Vicky Kaushal. Vicky took to his Instagram stories and praised the movie along with Alia Bhatt in it. He said, “Absolutely shook by the sheer brilliance at display in this film. SLB sir you are a master! And @aliabhatt don’t even know what to say about you…breathtakingly amazing as Gangu! Hats off. Big screen cinema magic. Don’t miss.” Sounds great, doesn’t it?
Also, while Alia’s boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor couldn’t be there for the Gangubai Kathiawadi premiere, his sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni watched the movie with aunt Rima Jain. She was extremely impressed by Alia’s performance. Riddhima took to Instagram stories and said, “When two living legends come together and create magic #sanjayleelabhansali #aliabhatt what a fantastic movie! Brilliant performance! @aliabhatt you nailed it.”

Filmmaker Shashank Khaitan, who has experience working with Alia Bhatt on movies such as Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania, also reviewed Gangubai Kathiawadi and even called Alia a genius! He wrote, “Please book your tickets, and go watch Gangubai in a theatre near you, to watch the sheer genius of Alia Bhatt… shakti, sampati, sadbudhi aur beshumar talent, sab iss ladki ke pass hai”.
The reviews for Gangubai Kathiawadi from the Berlin International Film Festival have also rolled in which have me even more enthused!

Well with all these raving reviews on the movie it is hard to keep calm and be patient about the impending release. I, for one plan to be present at the theatres tomorrow, i.e. February 25 for when Gangubai Kathiawadi releases.
