Food Blogger Eats Jalebi With Aloo Ki Sabzi. Pet Ka Toh Pata Nahi But Maan Kharab Ho Gaya!
I love love love food. And I love trying out different cuisines and combinations. Yes, I love fusion foods but to an extent. I mean, curd maggie, gulab jamun burger, mirchi ice cream, etc. are combinations that make me want to throw up. When I hear people selling these combinations, I often wonder who are these people who eat stuff like this. Well, you’d be surprised to know that there are a lot of them. In fact, there is one such food blogger that ate the newest dish being served – jalebi with aloo sabzi! Trust me, even I wish I was making this up.
Palak Kapoor, a food blogger, took to her Instagram to share a video of her taste testing the bizarre combination of jalebi with aloo sabzi – two food items that are eaten separately and enjoyed to the fullest by people for so many years. She shared the video of her eating the weird food fusion and went on to say that it was not that great.

In the video, a man is seen pouring hot aloo sabzi on jalebi and then cuts to the food blogger trying out the combination. She then goes on to make an okayish gesture. Sharing the video, Palak Kapoor wrote, “Tried the most weird food combo ever. Apparently, Jalebi with Aloo ki Sabzi is very famous in Mathura, Vrindavan. So, I tried this combo from Oma Pehalwan, Mathura.”

Needless to say, as soon as the video was posted on Instagram, there were people on the internet who cringed seeing her eat jalebi and aloo ki sabzi. In fact, some even commented saying that her stomach is going to get upset and others blatantly said “no” to the combination. But there were few who were curious to know what it tasted like.

Honestly, I’m going to sit this one out. I love jalebi and aloo ki sabzi separately and I’d prefer it that way. Trust me, I’m not going to feel any FOMO whatsoever.
