‘Yeh Ladki Pagal Hai’ Episode 16: Rohit Saraf Opens Up About Growing Up Around Women, Calls Them The “Grounding Force” Of His Life

The other day my friends and I were discussing our femininity and what makes us feel more in touch with ourselves as women. One of the things that made me look back was my upbringing and how being raised by my Nani affected me growing up. It also made me realise the importance of having good female figures in one’s life growing up, regardless of your gender. And I bet Rohit Saraf will agree with me as he also spoke about growing up around women in episode 16 of Yeh Ladki Pagal Hai.

When our confused kudi, Pavni Mehrotra, spoke to Rohit Saraf about his love for cooking, the Mismatched star spoke about being raised by women. He said that he was very grateful to have grown up around women. Further, he said that he believes that no one can bring to your life what women can. Rohit also added that “they’re the grounding force” in his life and that he is very grateful for them. He also added that while he loves women with long hair, finding their hair in random spots rather annoying. Rohit also said that he hates using makeup removal pads just lying around.

Well, I personally have noticed that there is a clear distinction between men who grew up around a lot of women and those who didn’t. The former tend to have much more empathy and understanding for women as a whole and indeed are amazing companions to have. So to me, a man being raised around women is a total green flag! I also feel that being raised by a powerful female figure does wonder for women. My Nani really still holds a huge impact on me as an adult and I genuinely do feel grateful for having been raised by her.
