Meet Namita Thapar, Ghazal Alagh And Vineeta Singh, The 3 Female Sharks In ‘Shark Tank India’

By  |

I believe in India, the lack of financial literacy is a real problem. We are not taught about savings and investments and are expected to make the right financial decisions with zero guidance. I feel like this problem is even more prevalent with women considering that only recently, women have started getting financially independent and have started taking charge of their income and finances. As someone who is trying to be more financially literate, I really look up to women in India who have built successful businesses and have made their money work for them. Because of this, I have really been into Shark Tank India since the Indian version came out. Moreover, I have really been interested in the 3 female sharks on the show named, Namita Thapar, Ghazal Alagh and Vineeta Singh.

Shark Tank India has 7 major Indian businesspersons who have made it big. Peyush Bansal (CEO and Founder of Lenskart.com), Anupam Mittal (CEO and Founder of Shaadi.com), Aman Gupta (Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of boAt), and Ashneer Grover (Managing Director and Founder of BharatPe), Vineeta Singh (Co-Founder and CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics), Ghazal Alagh (Co-Founder of Mamaearth) and Namita Thapar (Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals). Let’s know more about the women of this panel,
